Chinese Earthquake Relief
Shelters to the approximate value of 200,00.00€ have been supplied and installed to aid the relief effort in the severely earthquake stricken region of Sichuan, China.
Over the period 21st – 23rd May, Yibin Chen, General Manager Losberger Shanghai and a team of personnel, working alongside the local authorities and aid agencies situated in the area, erected a total of twenty urgently required shelters. Five of these shelters had been purchased from Losberger and then donated by retailers Metro, for use by educational and medical services to provide desperately needed facilities.
Within three hours of the completion of one medical facility, the first child was delivered in an area where previously there were no surviving medical facilities.
Two additional tents were supplied on the 1st June, China's "Children's Day", for use as temporary classrooms, which were decorated by the children of Sichuan in honour of their classmates, families and friends who were lost as a result of the the catastrophe. Losberger has provided a small but significant degree of normality to the devastated infrastructure and populace.

Rapid Deployment Shelters
With the introduction of the Rapid Deployment Shelter (RDS) range to the UK portfolio in 2007, several projects have been developed and delivered including to aid agencies, emergency services and a large worldwide airline to provide an emergency equipment solution for air accidents in remote locations.
